Painting, visual art, is my medium to express deepest (optimistic) emotions and thoughts. I feel that pure colors, symbols, non- linear time and space reality are THE MOST REAL AND RELEVANT things that exist. After the painting is finished, there is another important thing that absolutely spontaneously completes the creative process- the title that I deeply feel exactly matches the visual content. Infinite joy and fun. All over again. I enjoy...oils, acrylics, watercolours, drawings, pastels, mixed media, fabric painting, face painting, or one of the many other types of art ... Come see Artworks of Aleksandra Vasovic : exhibitions all over the world, works produced in various media, artworks for sell. For painter Aleksandra Smiljkovic-Vasovic, art is the way of life. A Capricorn according to the horoscope, she has always been the creator of her artistic and living sensibility: besides the paint brush, she uses a computer mouse for painting, but she also makes really imaginative and tasty macrobiotic food, translates, and practices meditation ?Her recognizable artistic style includes contemporary techniques: digital animations, prints, and drawings, but traditional techniques are not completely set aside. Her curriculum vitae reveals that she graduated with two degrees ? she finished her bachelor and master?s studies in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, and Bachelor of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture, [University of Belgrade]. She also completed piano lessons at a primary music school in Nis, with Professor Ljubica Milosavljevic. She says that Mozart, Bach and Beethoven were her ideals in music, and in painting were those autonomous artists whose works could be current in all periods and epochs: Vermeer, Rembrandt, Velasquez, Cezanne and Bonnard. She has exhibited paintings, drawings and works at collective and individual exhibitions in the country and on almost all continents. Her works are in collections of domestic, but also foreign, art lovers. She considers that an artist should not always wait for someone to organize his exhibition. Therefore, her website www.aleksandravasovic.com has several purposes: beside having Internet galleries where Internet works are displayed, as well as presentation of exhibitions, there is also a sales part.
"Save the forest" is an evolving series of work by Ignacio Campo Salinas with a predominant theme of resurrection and hope. Hope that we will save our precious forests, hope that we will save our planet from destruction. In his previous series’, movement and darker shades of color are fiercely apparent, from grays and olives with insidious threads of dark black as if toxins are wrapping around the trees in suffocating intensity. In this new series, the evolution of color has strongly come into place, transitioning from still and dark tones to energized and vibrant colors that are obvious in the progression from Save the forest I and II and V to Save the forest N. If art is a reflection of a painter’s reality, this series is deeply a reflection of Ignacio’s reality. A reality steeped in a desire to create awareness, to nudge and budge humanity from apathy into action. He is saying with his art…’Do something to stop the toxins from invading the forests. Lets clean up the forest, lets clean up our act, even if only in a small way. Whether it be recycling, using less chemicals, using less water... using less is more'. …. Art is a form of truth, Ignacio’s truth, your truth and my truth. Let’s do what we can to save our forest. "Let me dream," a surreal evolution of Ignacio Salinas’ "Save the Forest" series, finds the artist exploring environmental themes akin to "Forest," but this time on a more metaphysical plane that begs for personal interpretation. Inspired by the power of the dream landscape, Ignacio once again revisits the beauty and power of nature made so transparently clear in his "Forest" series, to show an idealized world without pollution, albeit from the perspective of a dreamer, not a realist. The vibrant greens and blues of the previous series are replaced by an even more vivacious blend of fluorescents, blood reds and hot pinks for an intoxicating medley. In the dark of night, Ignacio’s fevered dream of a robust planet takes on a hallucinatory tone to create a dream worth living in. Ignacio hopes for a day when society as a whole wakes up to the dangers it has caused the forests of the world. Let’s make his dream our reality. Abstract iconographic paintings , oil on canvas and paper. Includes portfolio of works, paintings, drawings, digital prints and contact details., Oil paintings, drawings, visual artist, save the forest, proits, monotypes, colographs.
